Requirements/ Objectives
- The company's project organisation is to be taken as a basis for a suitable concept for Microsoft Project Server user permissions
- A multi-dimensional authorization system, that represents the project organisation, should be provided
- Manual administration efforts as well as respective error sources should be avoided by automating the processes for setting permissions

Solution
- CS MOE is automating the granting of user permissions and extending the default structuring system of the Microsoft Project Server Resource Breakdown Structure. Permissions can be automatically granted in accordance with the specific company organisation
- In just a few configuration steps, services can be defined for synchronisation of authorisations on the basis of individually defined structuring systems (e.g. functional units, program or product tree)
- Generic rules guarantee an automated maintenance of the authorisation system
- The administration is done via a web interface that is integrated into the web interface of MS Project Server Web Access
