- Sophisticated programme structures with a large number of projects and hierarchy levels are to be illustrated
- Cross-project milestones/processes are to be linked together and abstracted for several project levels

Solution
- The standard product "CS Program Management Extension" (CS PME) illustrates programme hierarchies, it maps links across several projects and consolidates milestone information effectively
- CS PME maps links between set milestones and connects processes for each of the projects. In this process, the respective sender and recipient elements are defined in a flexible manner
- CS PME converges milestone information from various project plans into one programme overview
- Date changes, caused by external dependencies, take effect only after the project manager’s confirmation

- Programmes with several hundred individual (sub)projects are managed/controlled effectively by the means of MS Project Server, whereas hierarchical programme structures can be implemented
