CS Project Portal consolidates different applications and sources for PM relevant data. It offers uniform central access to all projects and portfolio management information, thereby addressing all of the roles and stakeholders involved: project managers, team members, members of the PM Office, controllers, line managers, etc.
CS Project Portal provides companies with a high degree of flexibility because functionality, menu structure or user permissions are freely configurable. In addition, it is possible to adjust the “look & feel” of the application to the corporate design guidelines. Role-based navigation allows each user to access exactly the functions he/she needs to complete his/her daily tasks.
CS Project Portal is a Microsoft Office Project Server-based standard product, matured over a number of years and currently in use in many large organisations.
It is based on a modular architecture, so that solutions can be expanded in step-by-step fashion. This way, the respective user can first be provided with those parts of the MS-Project Server functionality that correspond to his/her role; in the course of later expansion steps, successive functional expansions are added – e.g. to specifically support certain PM processes or integrate SAP.
