Innovation happens when people from different disciplines come together to work on ideas. That is exactly the goal of the first AGAthon, AGAPLESION’s hackathon focusing on the use of artificial intelligence in healthcare. Under the motto “The future begins as a team – developing AI solutions together,” students, graduates, and young professionals from computer science, data science, and mathematics will collaborate to create innovative approaches for the healthcare of tomorrow.
The event will take place on October 31 and November 1, 2025, at the AGAPLESION gAG Conference Center in Frankfurt am Main.
At the heart of the hackathon are two hands-on challenges:
- Tumor Board 2.0 – AI-assisted and seamlessly documented: Improving the preparation of interdisciplinary case discussions with the help of AI models.
- AI LabCheck in the Emergency Department: AI-based recommendations for laboratory profiles to support real-time decision-making.
