Campana & Schott accompanies IT companies in the context of mergers and acquisitions projects, both in the spin-off of sold parts of the company (IT carve-out) and in the reconstruction of a standalone IT system or the integration of IT into an existing landscape on the part of the buyer.

Our services begin with the analysis of existing services and the identification of optimization potentials. In addition, we create the IT modernization strategy and take over the planning of the future IT landscape up to the reliable transfer into operative operation.

Analysis

We carry out a comprehensive due diligence, identify risks and synergies in relation to the IT landscape and examine options for renegotiating contracts or for general cost reduction. Our detailed assessment of IT resources, processes and support structures serves as the basis for the next phases.

Day 1 measures

In addition to establishing a solid project organization with concrete milestones, we are making urgent preparations for Day 1. We are ensuring the access of key players to the buyer's business applications, providing a collaboration platform for the integration project and enabling access to important intranet pages (integration portal).

Planning & Conception

We plan and develop functional specifications and create technical migration concepts. In close consultation with the departments and suppliers concerned, we coordinate the procedure for implementation and attach importance to structured risk management.

Implementation

We ensure the timely and cost-effective implementation of all necessary measures and adapt support structures while constantly maintaining business continuity. If required, we take over change management measures, user training and handover to the company.
